ResearchGate, the professional network for researchers, and Tech Science Press, a publisher of fully open access journals in science and engineering fields, have announced a new Journal Home partnership. This collaboration aims to broaden the authorship and readership of participating Tech Science Press journals through the ResearchGate platform.
Initially, five Tech Science Press journals have been selected for this partnership: Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Computers, Materials & Continua, BIOCELL, Energy Engineering, and Phyton. The partnership ensures that all version-of-record content from these journals, including both archive content and new articles, will be available on ResearchGate.
The collaboration will significantly enhance the visibility of these journals on ResearchGate. Dedicated journal profiles will be created, offering essential information such as the journal’s aims and scope, metrics, editorial personnel, and content. These profiles will provide ResearchGate members with a unique way to explore their personal network connections to each journal and discover more about the wider journal communities. Journal brands and information will be prominently featured on all associated articles and relevant touch points, making it easier for ResearchGate’s 25 million researcher members to find and access these journals.
Furthermore, all authors in these journals will benefit from having their articles automatically added to their user profiles on ResearchGate. This feature will provide them with usage statistics and other insights about their research, presenting a unique way to understand and connect with their readers.
The new Journal Home partnership between ResearchGate and Tech Science Press represents a significant step forward in making scientific research more accessible and connected, benefiting researchers and readers alike.
