ResearchGate, the professional network for researchers, and Tsinghua University Press (TUP), China's leading university press, have announced a groundbreaking partnership that will enhance the visibility and readership of TUP's open access journals. This collaboration marks the first Journal Home partnership between ResearchGate and a Chinese publisher.
The partnership covers five fully open-access journals published by TUP on their SciOpen platform, spanning fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Energy, Materials, and Construction. Over 2,000 articles from these journals will now be accessible to ResearchGate’s community of more than 25 million researchers worldwide, significantly boosting the global readership and visibility of TUP’s publications.
The Journal Home feature on ResearchGate enhances journal visibility through dedicated profiles, which are integrated across the platform and linked to all associated article pages. These profiles provide essential information about the journals, including their aims, scope, metrics, and editorial boards, helping to attract potential readers and authors.
Authors publishing in these TUP journals will also benefit from having their articles automatically added to their ResearchGate profiles, allowing them to gain valuable insights into the impact of their work and engage with a broader international audience.
This partnership represents a significant step forward in increasing the global reach of Chinese research, positioning Tsinghua University Press and its journals prominently within the international research community.
