ResearchGate partners with MIT Press to expand journal access for researchers -

ResearchGate, the leading professional network for researchers, has announced a new Journal Home agreement with the prestigious MIT Press. This collaboration aims to broaden access to scholarly content, making full-text articles from select MIT Press journals available to ResearchGate’s vast network of over 25 million researchers.

Under this new agreement, the Journal Home feature will be activated for five MIT Press journals, spanning open access and hybrid models. The participating titles cover disciplines such as neuroscience, linguistics, and computational studies. Through this integration, ResearchGate members will have access to the full-text, version-of-record articles directly on the platform, including subscription-based content for authorized users and fully open access content for all members.

The collaboration is designed to enhance the discoverability and engagement of MIT Press content by syndicating it to ResearchGate’s extensive academic community. By establishing dedicated journal profiles on the platform, MIT Press will provide members with key information, published content, and unique insights into each journal's specialized communities.

Authors publishing in these participating MIT Press journals will also gain significant advantages. Their articles will be automatically uploaded to their ResearchGate profiles, increasing visibility and engagement. Additionally, researchers will have access to in-depth analytics, offering insights into readership demographics, as well as tracking citations and shares of their work.

This agreement marks a significant step in expanding the reach and impact of MIT Press publications while supporting the open exchange of knowledge within the global research community.
