Rittenhouse Book Distributors Inc. has announced that it will now offer its R2 Digital Library through YBP Library Services' GOBI acquisition platform. This partnership provides thousands of top health sciences e-books from Rittenhouse to the academic libraries served by GOBI. Once purchased through GOBI, the e-books are available instantly.
The partnership combines Rittenhouse's strength in the medical space with GOBI's large reach to provide academic customers with a comprehensive collection of medical, nursing and allied health e-books from key STM publishers. GOBI provides access to more than 13 million titles, including more than one million digital titles from leading aggregators and publishers. The R2 Digital Library integrates STM titles into the academic workflow and brings top medical titles to mutual customers.
R2 Digital Library e-books on GOBI will be available to customers instantaneously and will include 100 percent accurate links, searchable full text and access to tables of contents. This instant access is the result of a refined workflow that YBP is rolling out to its publisher partners and is applicable to Rittenhouse.
