Royal Society of Chemistry and Hungarian consortium sign Read & Publish agreement -

The Hungarian Electronic Information Service National Programme (EISZ) has signed an innovative Read & Publish licensing agreement with the Royal Society of Chemistry.

The corresponding authors affiliated at consortium member institutions are now able to publish Open Access in hybrid Royal Society of Chemistry journals, as well as having access to read the full range of scientific content from these titles.

The Read & Publish model allows articles published in Royal Society of Chemistry journals by corresponding authors from EISZ institutions to be made publicly available at the time of publication, at no further direct cost to the author.

The one-year agreement, with an option to extend by a further year, represents a unique step in EISZ’s developments, in order to ensure that all Hungarian articles are free to read around the world.
