The organization stated that it has expanded its existing collaboration with Silverchair to transition its complete journal portfolio to the Silverchair platform.
Silverchair has hosted the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) books platform since 2023, and this development represents a continuation of the collaboration as digital innovation in chemical sciences publishing.
Under this strategic partnership, a new journal publishing platform will be introduced to support authors, editors, and readers. The platform will include a modern interface and additional features designed to create a more intuitive and user-friendly environment. By transferring journal content to the Silverchair platform, the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) stated that discoverability and visibility of scholarly content will be strengthened through improved metadata, search optimization, and integration with leading research indexes.
