RPS resources for scientists to be made available via CambridgeSoft platform -

RPS Publishing, the publishing arm of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, and CambridgeSoft Corporation, US, have announced an agreement aimed to support scientists in research and development. Under the deal, new structure- and substructure-searchable - versions of Martindale for Scientists, Handbook of Pharmaceutical Excipients and Clarke's Analysis of Drugs and Poisons will be offered through CambridgeSoft's ChemBioOffice Enterprise and Desktop software suites. Access to the reference databases will be provided to scientists as an integrated part of their daily tasks through CambridgeSoft's E-Notebook solution and the ChemBioFinder Gateway and ChemBioDraw.

Martindale: The Complete Drug Reference is claimed to be one of the world's foremost drug references, providing unbiased evaluated information on drugs and medicines used globally, with vast breadth and depth of coverage. Martindale for Scientists contains selected content from the full publication with searchable chemical structures, intended to meet the needs of drug discovery scientists. Handbook of Pharmaceutical Excipients, published jointly with the American Pharmacists Association, is projected as an internationally acclaimed reference work recognised as an authoritative and comprehensive source of information on excipients used in pharmaceutical formulation. Clarke's Analysis of Drugs and Poisons provides analytical data for drugs and poisons.
