Scientific publisher RSC Publishing, the publishing arm of the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK, has announced that two of its latest journals - Nanoscale and Analytical Methods, have now been included by Thomson Reuters ISI in the Science Citation Index - Expanded.
All articles published in Nanoscale and Analytical Methods since Issue 1, Volume 1 are now listed on the ISI Web of Science and the Science Citation Index (SCI). Full indexing is projected to provide further exposure to all work published in the journals, enhancing the already high visibility achieved via the current free access model. To ensure global visibility for all research published, and to allow institutions to fully appraise the new titles before making a subscription decision, access to every current issue of both these journals is free throughout 2010. Free institutional online access to all 2009/2010 content is also available following registration at www.rsc.org/free_access_registration.
Nanoscale encompasses experimental and theoretical work across the breadth of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Published in collaboration with the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology (NCNST) in Beijing, China, the journal claims to be already attracting work from some of the best research groups in the world.
Analytical Methods communicates research on the demonstration and application of new analytical methodologies and techniques to problems of significant societal concern. The journal poses an addition to the well-established analytical science series of RSC Publishing journals, which include Analyst, Journal of Analytical Atomic Spectrometry and Analytical Abstracts.
