The Royal Society of Chemistry has partnered with Research Libraries UK (RLUK) to offer their library members value for money for the RSC eBook Collection. eBook options are now available to RLUK members for 2011 within a one-off purchase regime that will give standard indefinite access to quality research content from industry and academia.
The complete RSC eBook collection, dating from 1968 to 2011, includes 1,039 eBooks and can be purchased at great value or alternatively, an annual collection can be bought to suit a particular budget. RSC Publishing has an extensive portfolio of books ranging from food science and analytical chemistry to organic and physical chemistry.
OCLC MARC records are also provided free with any eBook collection purchase. Access is offered on the RSC Publishing Platform with PDF downloads and is perpetual. The collaboration between two not-for-profit organisations offers value at a particularly tough time for libraries around the country.
