A new agreement gives Russian researchers continued access to ScienceDirect - Elsevier's full-text platform of peer-reviewed scientific, technical and medical literature, with interactive tools to find the most relevant information.
The national license agreement provides coverage for nearly the entire Russian research community. It was signed by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR), which has supported research and educational organisations in Russia by providing access to high-quality Elsevier journals for more than 10 years.
As an information analytics business, Elsevier continues to enhance ScienceDirect by creating tools and functionalities to help researchers improve their performance and stay informed about the latest developments in related fields. The platform contains more than 15 million publications from over 2,500 journals published by Elsevier and our society partners. The current subscription also includes access to 5,000 Elsevier books to support multidisciplinary research in 24 subject fields.
