SAE forms partnership programme with publishers and industry experts -

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International, US, has announced a new Content Partnership Program that seeks to expand SAE's publishing programme via partnerships with book publishers, industry experts, multimedia producers and other technical knowledge providers. Traditional and non-traditional developers and publishers of engineering information can now look to SAE International as an active partner to make content available to the mobility engineering community.

Global in its scope, the new Content Partnership Program seeks to create a unique information store. It includes the resale of premium content from sources such as commercial publishers, think tanks and research-driven corporations, co-publishing opportunities, recruiting new authors with expertise in cutting-edge technologies, and acquiring exclusive magazine and newsletter content.

According to SAE International, its new content partners will be able to interface with a vibrant and information-hungry engineering community, in an industry now poised for renewed growth and significant innovation. The new initiative is seen to support SAE International's commitment to provide professionals, researchers and students worldwide with relevant titles in several areas. These include bodies and structures, design and simulation, electronics, environment and emissions, fuels and energy sources, maintenance and aftermarket, management, manufacturing, materials, power and propulsion, safety, tests and testing, and vehicles and performance.
