The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International, US, and engine technology company AVL List GmbH have agreed to partner in the development of unique technical content. Both organisations will cooperate through the 6th AVL International Commercial Powertrain Conference (ICPC), organised by AVL in Graz, Austria.
Under the agreement, SAE International will globally distribute the technical papers chosen to be presented during the ICPC event, which is conducted bi-annually. This initiative is part of SAE International's new Content Partnership Program, which seeks to expand the society's offerings in technical information. This includes co-publishing or reselling premium content in cutting-edge technologies, acquired by working closely with traditional and non-traditional publishers, industry experts, and a variety of knowledge providers.
SAE International is a global association of more than 128,000 engineers and related technical experts in the aerospace, automotive and commercial-vehicle industries. The Society's core competencies are life-long learning and voluntary consensus standards development.
