The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International, US, and iSmithers have announced a strategic partnership. The deal will enable SAE International to sell electronic versions of selected iSmithers books both in their entirety and as individual chapters.
Some of the titles covered by the agreement are: Polymers in Aerospace Applications; Composites for Automotive Applications; Introduction to Automotive Composites; Tyre Recycling; and Plastics and the Environment.
This initiative is part of SAE International's new Content Partnership Program. The Content Partnership Program seeks to expand SAE International's publishing programme via the resale of premium content from sources such as commercial publishers, think tanks and research-driven corporations, co-publishing opportunities, recruiting new authors with expertise in cutting-edge technologies, and acquiring exclusive magazine and newsletter content.
iSmithers is the publisher of technical and market information covering many industries, including all aspects of rubbers, plastics and polymer-based composite materials. iSmithers publications encompass polymer sciences, practical processing technology, properties, and applications of polymeric techniques. Publications include Handbooks, Smither's Rapra Updates, Journals, Practical Guides and Market Reports.
