SAE International, US, and scientific publisher World Scientific Publishing (WSP) have announced a strategic partnership. The deal will enable SAE International to sell electronic versions of selected WSP books via its own e-bookstore. The agreement, which may be expanded over time, includes 10 initial titles.
The agreement is part of SAE International’s Content Partnership Program, which seeks to increase SAE International’s publishing programme by partnering with commercial and non-commercial publishers, industry experts, multimedia producers and a variety of other technical knowledge providers. This includes the resale of premium content from various third-party sources such as think tanks and research-driven corporations, co-publishing opportunities, recruiting new authors with expertise in cutting-edge technologies, and acquiring exclusive magazine and newsletter content.
World Scientific Publishing Company publishes about 500 titles a year and 120 journals in various fields. Many of its books are recommended texts adopted by renowned institutions such as Harvard University, California Institute of Technology and Princeton University.
