Academic publisher SAGE has announced the acquisition of two journals - Language and Speech and International Journal of Bilingualism - owned and published by Kingston Press. Both titles enjoy worldwide readership and are well established in their field.
First established in 1958, Language and Speech is an interdisciplinary title providing an international forum for research into the understanding of the production, perception, processing, learning, use, and disorders of speech and language. The International Journal of Bilingualism, established by Kingston Press in 1997, is already a successful international forum for original research into linguistic, psychological, neurological, and social issues which emerge from language contact.
This acquisition further strengthens SAGE's current portfolio of linguistics and communications journals, including Second Language Research, Language Teaching Research, and Language Testing.
