Academic publisher SAGE has partnered with the American Sociological Association (ASA) to publish Contexts, a quarterly magazine that makes sociology relevant to anyone interested in how society operates.
Edited by a team in the sociology department at the University of Minnesota, Contexts publishes rigorous but accessible and readable sociological research that is appropriate for sociologists, other social scientists, and people outside the field. The magazine includes feature articles, culture and book reviews, photography, as well as summaries of the latest findings from social science research and news within the field.
The first SAGE published issue of Contexts will be Volume 10, Number 1, Winter 2011.
