SAGE and Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists announce publishing partnership -

Academic publisher SAGE has announced that it has been chosen by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) to publish the journal, Canadian Journal of Occupational Therapy, beginning February 2013.

The Canadian Journal of Occupational Therapy (CJOT) began publication in 1933 and fostered advancement and growth of research, theory and practice in occupational therapy. Principle content of CJOT includes full-length empirical papers across the full range of methodologies as well as theoretical papers, methodological or conceptual reviews, and clinical or programme descriptions and clinical case examples that have the potential to inform future research.

CJOT will continue to support the CAOT mission under the direction of the journal's Editor-in-Chief, Helene J. Polatajko, and Associate Editors, Jane Davis, Catherine Backman, and Catherine Vallée.

CJOT is just one outlet that helps the CAOT in its mission to advance excellence in occupational therapy. The journal aims to advance excellence in occupational therapy research that informs education, practice and policy with a vision to influence occupational therapy globally. Joining the SAGE journal family means that the journal will be available through the SAGE Journals platform and authors will be able to submit articles for review through SAGE Track.
