Sage Campus expands with new collection on generative AI and EDI in research -

Sage Publishing, an academic publisher, has announced the expansion of Sage Campus, its collection of online courses designed to support researchers in developing essential skills for conducting original research. The new addition, Sage Campus Collection 2, is available for purchase or subscription by libraries.

The expanded offering includes courses on topics such as conducting culturally responsive research, engaging with historically marginalized communities, applying generative AI to academic work, grant writing, systematic reviews, digital humanities, and effectively reading journal articles. These new resources supplement the existing collection, which features courses on critical thinking and writing, digital literacy, and data visualization. Together, they form a comprehensive training platform for researchers at all levels.

A representative from Sage noted that the Campus courses are intentionally designed to address complex topics often underrepresented in traditional course curricula. Learners benefit from asynchronous, expert-led content delivered in modular formats, allowing flexibility to either complete full courses or focus on specific skills as needed.

Sage Campus courses are utilized by librarians to develop instructional workshops and by faculty members who assign them as pre-work or skill-building exercises. The platform is available to libraries via purchase or annual subscription, with free trials offered to librarians and faculty for evaluation purposes.
