Academic publisher SAGE has announced a new agreement with the Swedish Association of Local Authorities to provide the EIRA consortium (Effective Information Retrieval and Acquisition) with access to all SAGE health science journals.
Made up of 21 member county councils, EIRA exists to support Swedish healthcare staff with access to latest scientific knowledge about methods of diagnosis and treatment. Through the new agreement, all health facilities - from primary care facilities to university hospitals - will have access to 146 journals in SAGE’s health science package.
SAGE’s health science package contains several titles in psychiatry and psychology, behavioural and health sciences, and even therapeutic and clinical titles in different specialties. All these topics help to provide the Swedish health care facilities with a broad base of scientific journals.
