Academic publisher SAGE has announced that the American Journal of Men's Health (AJMH) has been accepted for inclusion in MEDLINE. Maintained by the US National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online) is a premier bibliographic database containing more than 16 million journal article citations.
AJMH provides a forum through which the multidisciplinary professional community disseminates the scholarly state of science regarding men's health issues. The primary aim of the journal is to disseminate peer-reviewed empirical research and theoretical information that are emerging in multiple disciplines such as anthropology, sociology, history, psychology, medicine, nursing, allied health, and public health that significantly affect men's health status.
AJMH is projected as a core resource for information on men's health and illness. The journal publishes papers from all health, behavioural and social disciplines, including but not limited to medicine, nursing, allied health, public health, health psychology/behavioral medicine, and medical sociology and anthropology.
