SAGE journals post impressive impact factors -

Academic publisher SAGE has announced that 31 Journals have been newly ranked in the latest Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports (JCR). SAGE's overall market share of the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) increased to 11 percent (340 titles).

SAGE has consistently increased its JCR coverage year on year, with overall growth of 144 percent over the past five years. SAGE remains market leader (by number of titles) in 10 JCR categories, including Communication; Criminology & Penology; Political Science; Social Sciences, interdisciplinary; and Sociology. The company partners with some of the world's leading societies and associations across the social sciences. The Journal of Management, published on behalf of the Southern Management Association, increased its impact factor to 4.429, ranking 5th in Management and 6th in Business. Three of the journals of the Association for Psychological Science (APS), published by SAGE from 2010, also achieved outstanding impact factors, including Perspectives On Psychological Science (7.508), which debuted this year at 4th in Psychology, Multidisciplinary.

SAGE's programme in science, technology and medicine also continues to increase in strength, with 160 journals now ranked across these disciplines, including Neurorehabilitation and Neural Repair, ranked no.1 in Rehabilitation with an impact factor of 5.398, and the Neuroscientist, with an impact factor of 6.079.
