Academic publisher SAGE has announced that, for the first time, its entire e-journal and reference portfolio is available to members of Lyrasis. Lyrasis is a new not-for-profit membership organisation created earlier this year from the merger of regional library networks PALINET and SOLINET.
With this new partnership, participating members of Lyrasis will be able to choose from three SAGE journal and reference packages - SAGE Premier, SAGE Deep Backfile Package and SAGE Reference Online.
SAGE Premier contains electronic access to 514 peer-reviewed journals, comprising over 230,000 articles, via SAGE Journals Online, the company's online journal delivery platform. SAGE Deep Backfile Package contains electronic access back to volume 1, issue 1 of over 380 highly-ranked titles in business, humanities, social sciences and science, technology and medicine. SAGE Reference Online contains electronic access to over 100 authoritative reference works (by year's end), all hosted on the SAGE Reference Online platform.
Lyrasis seeks to provide access to shared knowledge and expertise, innovative products and services and customised solutions. It includes over 4,000 member libraries and cultural heritage institutions across the US and beyond, and primarily serves library, information and cultural organisations in the southeast and the mid-Atlantic regions.
