Academic publisher SAGE Publishing has announced that it will be publishing the journal Anaesthesia and Intensive Care as of January 2019. This is in partnership with the Australian Society of Anesthetists.
A flagship title of the Australian Society of Anesthetists, the journal provides articles for healthcare professionals and researchers relating to the fields of anaesthesia, pain and critical care medicine. The only anaesthesia journal based in Australia and New Zealand, it provides a unique Australasian perspective and focus, yet also an alternative option for researchers from outside the region.
Anaesthesia and Intensive Care is a notable addition to SAGE's medical portfolio, as an internationally-recognised journal in the field, which provides a platform for research and debate. This new publishing partnership will allow the journal to expand its global reach and therefore the research forum that it offers to those interested in the field.
