Academic publisher SAGE Publishing has announced that it will begin publishing California Management Review (CMR), a quarterly journal affiliated with the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. The articles published in CMR address current issues of concern to managers across a range of industries and outline practical advice to help managers in their roles.
Founded in 1958, CMR publishes articles on corporate strategy and organization, the management of technology, business and public policy, managing in the global business economy, and more. The journal also accepts reports on business surveys, analyses, or descriptions of new or revised business techniques, and perspectives on contemporary social, economic, and political issues. CMR is one of the journals used by the Financial Times to assess faculty research productivity at business schools.
CMR's extensive catalogue of reprints is widely used in university courses, executive programs, and management seminars around the world.
