Academic publisher SAGE has announced a 10-year agreement with the Association for Psychological Science (APS) to publish its four journals beginning in 2010. The journals are Psychological Science, Current Directions in Psychological Science, Psychological Science in the Public Interest and Perspectives on Psychological Science.
The APS' goal for its journals is the timely communication of exemplary science in a format accessible to a variety of audiences. Publishers' proposals were judged on the quality of their programmes and services and on the publisher's commitment to psychological science.
The Association for Psychological Science is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to the advancement of scientific psychology and its representation at the national and international level. The Association seeks to promote, protect, and advance the interests of scientifically oriented psychology in research, application, teaching, and the improvement of human welfare.
