Academic publisher SAGE has partnered with Division 35 of the American Psychological Association (APA) to publish the journal, Psychology of Women Quarterly (PWQ). PWQ is the official journal of the Society for the Psychology of Women.
PWQ will join SAGE's strong journals portfolio in psychology and gender studies. Highly citied, the journal's 2009 Impact Factor is 1.297. It is ranked 48 in multidisciplinary psychology; and third in women's studies.
Psychology of Women Quarterly publishes qualitative and quantitative research with substantive and theoretical merit, along with critical reviews, theoretical articles, and invited book reviews related to the psychology of women and gender. The journal is currently published by Wiley-Blackwell. It will transfer to SAGE with the March 2011 issue.
