Academic publisher SAGE has announced that it has been chosen by the University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA) to publish the journal, Journal of Research on Leadership Education (JRLE), beginning in April 2012.
The University Council for Educational Administration is a consortium of higher education institutions committed to advancing the preparation and practice of educational leaders for the benefit of schools and children. UCEA also owns Educational Administration Quarterly (EAQ) and Journal of Cases in Educational Leadership (JCEL), both also published by SAGE.
JRLE will support the association's mission to build knowledge for the field and to provide quality preparation and lifelong learning experiences for school and school system leaders. Joining the SAGE journal family means that the journal will be available through the SAGE Journals platform and authors will be able to submit articles for review through SAGE Track.
The UCEA is a consortium of higher education institutions committed to advancing the preparation and practice of educational leaders for the benefit of schools and children. It is a nonprofit corporation whose members are major research universities in the US and Canada.
