Academic publisher SAGE has announced a partnership with American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (AAVLD) to publish the Journal of Veterinary Diagnostic Investigation (JVDI). JVDI is the official journal of AAVLD. The journal will join SAGE's growing journals portfolio for veterinarians.
The AAVLD is a not-for-profit professional organisation which has disseminated information relating to the diagnosis of animal diseases since 1957. Members of the organisation receive the Journal of Veterinary Diagnostic Investigation as benefit of membership.
Launched in 1989, JVDI is currently ISI ranked in the top quartile in all categories among veterinary medicine journals, and is on both HighWire and ScholarOne. The journal presents information on all aspects of veterinary diagnostic science. Published bimonthly, it focuses on the major disciplines of anatomical pathology, bacteriology/mycology, clinical pathology, epidemiology, immunology, laboratory information management, molecular biology, parasitology, public health, toxicology, and virology.
