eTextbook aggregator Reference Tree, UK, has announced that publishers Scion Publishing and AVA Academia are delivering their textbooks through its innovative content delivery platform, available to students across UK Higher Education.
Six titles representing core reading across biomedical courses in the UK will be available immediately from life and medical sciences publisher Scion Publishing. These include Human Genetics, Cellular Pathology and Clinical Biochemistry. Also, nearly 100 of the latest titles from visual arts publisher AVA Academia are being made available.
Both Scion and AVA have begun marketing the benefits of the Reference Tree access model directly to their lecturer customer base, including discounted offers to help encourage students to purchase their textbooks by the chapter. Scion Publishing and AVA Academia join a growing list of renowned publishers that supply content through Reference Tree. This includes Cambridge University Press, Taylor & Francis, Hodder Education, Elsevier Science & Technology and McGraw Hill.
Innovative in approach, Reference Tree offers students a cost-effective way of purchasing their course materials - by the chapter, online. Designed to address the changing dynamics of study and learning in today's digital climate, the service allows students to purchase just the portions of the textbook they require to efficiently complete their coursework. The service further enhances the learning experience with key features such as the ability to highlight and annotate text and, coming soon, the ability to collaborate with trusted peers through sharing of notes and comments.
