The text mining technology developed by TEMIS automates the semantic enrichment of unstructured content, improving its findability and discoverability by search engines and end-users.
In online publications, the resulting richer metadata can be used to help search engines return more relevant results; feed search facets to enable efficient drill-down in search results; and recommend related or similar documents and knowledge. By making online information products more compelling, semantic content enrichment helps engage, retain and cross-sell to Publishers' audiences. The technology can also be used to assemble innovative products such as highly focused Topic Pages that aggregate content coming from separate silos into a single product centered on any given area of interest. Richly tagged content also helps Publishers better align targeted advertising with the relevant audience.
Through this partnership, Semantico will offer a service that will allow a wide range of companies, including medium-sized and smaller publishers using Semantico's publishing software, to make the most of this technology to add value to their content much in the same way large publishers are already doing.
