Online publishing services provider Semantico Ltd., UK, has announced that academic and reference books publisher Oxford University Press (OUP) will make The BBC College of Journalism website available to an international audience using technology from Semantico.
This project, powered by the Semantico Access Management System (SAMS) Gatekeeper technology, will enable Oxford University Press to sell subscriptions to the BBC College of Journalism site to a worldwide audience.
SAMS Gatekeeper will be embedded within the existing website to provide integration with the Semantico Access Management System that manages all access management needs for Oxford University Press. The Gatekeeper technology acts as a proxy between end users and the product site, bringing existing products under the control of SAMS so they can begin earning revenue.
