E-Resource Access and Management Services (ERAMS) provider Serials Solutions, US, has announced a partnership with library web-technology vendor Springshare. Under the deal, both companies will work together to provide the first ERAMS-based LibGuides integration, enabling common subscribers to create LibGuides A-to-Z lists powered by Serials Solutions KnowledgeWorks knowledgebase.
Serials Solutions and Springshare worked with beta partners at SUNY Westchester Community College, Grand Valley State University, Palm Beach Atlantic University, and Mississippi State University to test the integration of KnowledgeWorks data into LibGuides. LibGuides customers will benefit from the Serials Solutions Knowledgeworks Certified publisher certification programmme, which ensures that users receive the best possible information.
The minimum requirement to enable this feature is a subscription to LibGuides and Serials Solutions 360 services or the Summon service, which include the KnowledgeWorks knowledgebase. There is no additional charge for integrating KnowledgeWorks data with LibGuides.
