Library automation solutions provider SirsiDynix has announced the acquisition of EOS International, a California-based technology company that develops solutions for legal, government, corporate, medical, and other special library customers.
With 1100 implementations worldwide, EOS customers will join SirsiDynix customers to create the largest and most inclusive customer base in the history of the library automation industry. Because of their unique focus on special libraries, the EOS products and services will continue to be developed and maintained as currently constituted.
There are no plans for product consolidation, nor will the product roadmaps of either organisation be changed by the acquisition.
