Atypon, a provider of software to the professional and scholarly publishing industry, has announced that the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) has selected the Literatum publishing platform to power its new publications website.
SIAM exists to ensure the strongest interactions between mathematics and other scientific and technological communities through membership activities, publication of journals and books, and conferences. SIAM publishes 15 peer-reviewed journals and about 25 books each year, and has a backlist of 400 titles.
The new digital library will use Literatum for Mobile to be accessible using modern smartphone and tablet devices. In addition, more than one billion users will be able to register and log in with one click using their Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn accounts, making personalisation easier than ever before.
