The Society of American Foresters (SAF) has selected Springer Nature as its new publishing partner for its distinguished journals, Journal of Forestry and Forest Science. This partnership aligns with Springer Nature’s commitment to expanding its portfolio of sustainability-focused publications, joining a suite of around 3,000 titles dedicated to advancing impactful research.
This collaboration supports SAF and Springer Nature’s shared goal of promoting high-quality, interdisciplinary research to tackle global challenges, particularly in the sustainable management of forest resources. Established in 1900, SAF represents over 9,000 professionals in forestry and natural resources, and its journals serve as essential platforms for advancing knowledge in the field.
The first issues under Springer Nature’s publishing will debut in February 2025, with submissions already open for prospective authors.
