STM publisher Springer Science+Business Media (Springer) and the Korea Institute of Science & Technology Information (KISTI) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the provision and dissemination of scientific information.
KISTI will not only provide all non-KESLI (Korean Electronic Site License Initiative) members access to Springer content using a pay-per-view model, but it will also enable more than 160 KESLI members to access all of the Springer Online Journal Archive (OJA) which contains hundreds of years of scholarly articles. KISTI believes that the OJA national license will also allow small institutes access to these essential retro-digitized backfiles.
KISTI provides science and technology information related services to the public in Korea. It aims at promoting national competitiveness in science and technology by actively challenging rapidly changing world paradigm.
