STM publisher Springer has announced a collaboration with the Italian National Institute for Higher Mathematics (INdAM) to publish a new book series Springer INdAM Series. At least three books in the field of pure and applied mathematics will be published annually. Professor Vincenzo Ancona, President of INdAM, will be the editor-in-chief of the book series.
Springer INdAM Series will publish textbooks, multi-author books, theses and monographs which result from workshops, conferences, courses, seminars and research activities carried out at INdAM. The books in the series will discuss recent results and analyse new trends in mathematics and its applications.
Springer will hold exclusive distribution rights and will be responsible for sales and marketing. All books in the series will be available as eBooks on Springer’s online platform springerlink.com, and in print-to-order (PTO) format.
The Italian National Institute for Higher Mathematics / Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica promotes the development of mathematical research and supports mathematical culture in Italy, with the most important activities carried out at an international level. INdAM also organises advanced courses for outstanding young students and researchers in mathematics.
