STM publisher Springer and the Italian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (SIUMB) have agreed to a five-year partnership to publish the Journal of Ultrasound, starting in 2013 with Volume 16. A quarterly publication, the Journal of Ultrasound is the official journal of SIUMB. The journal will be available exclusively in electronic format on SpringerLink.
The Journal of Ultrasound deals with significant advances in the physics, engineering and technology of ultrasound in medicine and biology. The peer-reviewed articles are relevant for clinical diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic applications and clinical techniques in particular. The journal publishes original contributions such as research and review articles, case reports, technical reports and letters to the editor. All articles are published in English while the abstracts are written in both English and Italian.
Ferdinando Draghi serves as Editor in Chief of the journal.
