STM publisher Springer has announced an agreement with international academic publishing house Sense Publishers. Under the deal, Springer will distribute the latter's book program as part of Springer's eBook collection on www.springerlink.com, starting in 2011.
Sense has an annual output of about 100 titles in education and educational research, including titles that focus on the student market. Sense will continue to sell print copies of its publications through its own distribution channels. With a combined output of about 250 titles per year, customers will now have one-stop access to a significant part of the literature in this discipline.
Founded in 2004, Sense Publishers publishes books in the field of education and educational research. Through this agreement with Springer, the publisher seeks to significantly expand its online exposure to the benefit of its authors and customers.
