Information services provider Swets, Netherlands, has signed a deal with JSTOR, the digital library of journals, books and primary sources, to make all of their eBook titles available to order directly through its SwetsWise platform. With over 20,000 current and backlist books available in the Books at JSTOR program, this adds a wealth of high-quality additional content into the already extensive SwetsWise catalogue.
Through its SwetsWise platform, Swets offers its customers access to the industry's largest one-stop shop of eBook publishers and aggregators. With over 1 million titles from close to 50 publishers and vendors contained in the catalogue, libraries can quickly compare the pricing and policy features of different vendors, select the purchasing option to suit their budget and receive expert consultation on how best to develop their collection.
JSTOR is a digital library of more than 2,000 academic journals, 20,000 books, and 2 million primary sources. JSTOR helps people discover, use, and build upon a wide range of content through a powerful research and teaching platform, and preserves this content for future generations. JSTOR is part of ITHAKA, a not-for-profit organisation that also includes Ithaka S+R and Portico.
