The Independent Scholarly Publishers Group (ISPG) has announced that journal subscription services provider Swets, Netherlands, will be representing its content to both the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent.
Swets has been providing its customers with professional information services since it began from a single bookshop in Amsterdam over 100 years ago. Now operating from more than 20 offices around the world, with a loyal customer base of more than 60,000 clients in 160 countries, Swets will help to establish and then grow the presence of the high-impact ISPG content to the library consortia, hospitals and other organisations in that important region.
Swets will seek to help maximise the visibility of the vital ISPG resources. The company's global marketing and sales distribution services will increase the Group's presence in this emerging, but dynamic region, providing key direction in getting their HighWire-platform-hosted, 42 ISPG journals and other resources from 18 publishers, into as many hands as possible.
