YBP Library Services (YBP), a division of EBSCO Information Services, has partnered with Talis to bring more choice, and increased efficiencies, for course reading list driven library acquisitions and collection development.
This partnership makes the integration between YBP and Talis Aspire, already in use at many Australasian universities, available now to shared customers in the UK. Customers who use Talis Aspire workflows and data to inform their acquisitions strategy can now seamlessly, and at scale, acquire the right content in the right format, directly from YBP.
YBP and Talis will explore further enhancements and integration to support the greater choice, efficiencies and value that customers seek, as they ensure students can access the right course materials from Talis Aspire.
Talis helps universities in eight countries, including over 60% of all UK universities, to manage and deliver learning resources online. Talis services integrate with all major ILS and LMS solutions together with a range of authentication services, RROs, bookstores and providers. The cloud based SaaS system hosts nearly 500,000 reading lists, with over 20 million references, serving in excess of 176 million views of reading lists by students each year.
