Publisher Taylor & Francis, UK, has announced a new publishing partnership with the Chinese Institute of Engineers (CIE). Under the deal, Taylor & Francis will publish the Journal of the Chinese Institute of Engineers from 2011. The journal will move to Taylor & Francis in Volume 33 (2011), increasing in frequency from seven issues to eight issues per year.
Taylor & Francis' Singapore office will provide local liaison and support, while the company's international Marketing networks will ensure that the journal's content is seen, read and cited by active researchers worldwide, optimising citations and usage. The journal will benefit from Taylor & Francis' InformaWorld platform, with functionality such as forward citation linking and advanced online publication of articles through iFirst.
Online submission and review will be introduced via a new online submissions system, ensuring efficient peer review and outreach to international authors.
Back issues of the journal will be made available to subscribers online.
