Techstreet, a Thomson Reuters business, has signed agreements with the Society of Automotive Engineers International and the British Standards Institution. The deal grants Techstreet additional rights to distribute industry-critical standards in PDF format for each organisation.
Engineering and technical professionals will now have a one-stop online location to access aerospace, automotive and British standards, quickly and easily at www.techstreet.com.
The SAE International catalogue contains over 9,300 individual standards covering design, manufacturing, operation and maintenance of vehicles in the automotive and aerospace industry. It also includes standards for self-propelled sea and space vehicles.
The BSI Standards Ltd catalogue contains over 50,000 standards in PDF format of which over 31,000 are current. It includes standards of UK origin, European standards from CEN/CENELEC and international standards from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) which have been adopted into the UK system of standardisation. BSI’s coverage is pan-disciplinary and includes standards on building and civil engineering, materials and chemicals, engineering, electrotechnology, consumer products and services, healthcare, management systems and information technology. BSI standards are also available through Techstreet Subscriptions, a managed information solution providing unlimited enterprise access to an online standards library.
