Publishing solutions provider The Charlesworth Group has announced a collaboration with the American Society of Hematology (ASH) to produce a Chinese edition of key contents of Hematology 2010, the ASH Education Program Book.
Chinese researchers and medical practitioners will now be able to access critical new ideas and information from these translated materials, which are a compilation of clinical papers written by presenters in the Education Program of ASH's Annual Meeting, which was held in Orlando, Florida, in December of 2010. First copies of the translated edition were available at the Highlights of ASH meeting, which was held last month at the Beijing Capital Hotel in Beijing, China. The contents of the Chinese edition will also soon be available online.
The Highlights of ASH in China meeting was launched by ASH in partnership with the Chinese Society of Hematology and Chinese Medical Association to strengthen ASH's international outreach efforts and foster greater collaboration and information exchange between Chinese and western hematologists.
The Charlesworth Group orchestrated the initial Chinese translation of the clinical papers and related texts, along with the composition, printing, and online delivery. Members of ASH and of the Chinese society worked closely together to ensure the accuracy and quality of the translated information. Prominent expert Dr. Changgeng Ruan served as editor of the more than 300 page volume.
