The Independent Scholarly Publishers Group (ISPG) has announced that The Charlesworth Group will be representing its content in mainland China.
The ISPG is a coalition of seventeen independent publishers of 39 journals and related academic content that promotes, markets to, and negotiates with library consortia, hospitals and other organisations around the globe. Their content is hosted on the HighWire platform. With this new agreement, The Charlesworth Group will provide sales expertise to the Chinese market for that content.
The Charlesworth Group offers tailored services designed specifically for the Chinese market, and have been involved in implementing national online access agreements between Chinese universities and more than 650 academic journals. The company will now also work with the ISPG publishers, developing strategic sales and marketing programmes in China to provide Chinese researchers with access to the high quality, peer-reviewed ISPG content.
