The Journal of the American Dental Association Records all time high impact score -

The Journal of the American Dental Association (JADA) announced that its journal impact factor (JIF) increased to an all-time high, following a report from analytics company Clarivate.

JADA, the American Dental Association’s (ADA) monthly, peer-reviewed medical journal on dentistry, received a score of 3.9 – a six-percent increase from its previous JIF. It also received its highest score yet on Clarivate’s Journal Citation Indicator, which reviews the number of scholarly citations a publication received over the previous three years. This placed JADA in the top 12 of 156 journals covering dentistry, oral surgery and medicine.

Introduced in 1913, JADA endeavors to publish high-quality, original articles with the potential to transform dental, oral and craniofacial health and to provide a forum for discussion and debate of issues in dentistry and healthcare. It informs practitioners of significant advances in dentistry by presenting timely and valuable materials through research, commentaries, editorials and continuing education. JADA regularly implements new technologies and communication platforms to convey its science, applicability and merit.

Clarivate annually publishes its Journal Citation Reports, which evaluates more than 21,500 academic journals worldwide in more than 250 fields of study to determine their associated impact and relevance.
