Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. (CCC), a firm dedicated to creating global licensing and content solutions that make copyright work, has announced that The Rockefeller University Press (RUP) is participating in its text mining solution, RightFind™ XML for Mining.
RightFind XML for Mining allows publishers to offer life science companies controlled access to full-text articles in native XML format for import into their preferred text mining software such as Linguamatics I2E. Participating publishers receive usage reports to support decision making related to the licensing of their content for commercial text mining uses and their content development strategy.
RUP is committed to quality and integrity in scientific publishing. Its goal is to publish excellent science using the latest technologies, carrying out rigorous peer review, and applying the highest standards of novelty, mechanistic insight, data integrity, and general interest. Publications include The Journal of Cell Biology (JCB), The Journal of Experimental Medicine (JEM), and The Journal of General Physiology (JGP).
Other publishers participating include Springer Nature, Wiley, Oxford University Press, BMJ, the Royal Society of Chemistry, Taylor & Francis, SAGE, Cambridge University Press, American Diabetes Association, American Society for Nutrition, and Future Medicine.
XML for Mining is built on CCC's RightFind™ platform, a unique suite of cloud-based workflow solutions that offer immediate, easy access to a full range of scientific, technical, and medical (STM) peer-reviewed journal content.
Using RightFind XML for Mining, commercial life science researchers identify and download collections of full-text XML articles from thousands of peer-reviewed journals produced by over 40 STM publishers. They can identify articles associated with their research from publications to which they subscribe and discover articles that fall outside of company subscriptions, providing the most complete article collection for mining. All content in RightFind XML for Mining is pre-authorized for use in commercial text mining projects for internal research purposes.
