The American Institute of Physics (AIP) has partnered with The Sheridan Press to provide printing and mailing services for its journal programme. Beginning with the January 2011 issues, The Sheridan Press will produce the AIP journals on both offset and digital production platforms.
The AIP claims to be one of the world's largest publishers of physics journals. It supports ten member societies, forges ties between science and industry, supports science education, and promotes science in the public sector through advocacy and outreach.
