Scientific and medical publisher Thieme Medical Publishers, Inc. has announced that as of May 31, 2013, it will no longer be distributing the books of Manson Publishing.
Taylor and Francis Books Ltd acquired Manson Publishing, a UK based publisher of books in medicine and veterinary science. During the transition period both parties wish to ensure that any disruption to customer service is minimized. All parties who have purchased Manson titles from Thieme have until June 15, 2013 to return stock and to settle accounts with Thieme. Thieme will accept authorised returns only for books ordered prior to June 1, 2013, subject to the Thieme returns policy.
Thieme Publishing Group is a scientific and medical publishing house employing more than 950 people and maintaining offices in seven cities. Thieme publishes 140 peer-reviewed journals and over 500 new books annually. The company also has a rapidly growing array of web-based products in medicine and science.
